By means of special devices and innovative slot wedge milling machines, we produce a large number of customized constructions from all common laminates.<\/p>\n

We produce slot wedges in rectangular, semi-circular, trapezial and double trapezial form. Depending on the customer application, these can also be provided with air slots and single chamfers.<\/p>\n

Electric motors and generators often consist of an outer stator and an inner moving rotor. The stator usually carries the induction coil – a copper winding. This winding is fixed to the outer stator by using slot wedges.<\/p>\n

The production of magnetic slot wedges for the use in electric induction units rounds our range of services. By using magnetically conductive material, the efficiency of a motor or generator is greatly improved because the magnetic wedge closes the gap in the air groove and reduces eddy current losses.<\/p>\n
